Reset Isn’t Quitting, It’s Trusting Again

It’s June. And it’s not just a new month, but an opportunity to slow down and breathe again—to choose a rhythm that aligns with Heaven, not hustle. God is inviting us to reset our pace. On a computer you have to reset because something is wrong and rebooting is best. The truth of the matter is when we keep going and going in life we also need a reset, after being tired and trying to do it all on our own, the system needs to rest and be refreshed.  Here is a little truth: Reset doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It doesn’t mean you’re behind.

It means you’re brave enough to stop striving and start surrendering again.

We often think rest is weakness. But in the Kingdom, rest is radical trust. When you step back, pause, and choose stillness, you’re saying, “God, I trust You enough to stop moving.”

As we continue to move forward let’s try this: Morning Stillness Before Scrolls. What is that you might ask: it’s where we give God your first 5 minutes (you can make it as long as your heart desires but 5 minutes is an obtainable goal); Open your journal before you open Instagram.

Let Heaven get the first word—not the world.
“My soul gets the first word—not the world.”

There is nothing that we can do without the word of God so

📖 Anchor Verse:

“Come to Me, all who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.” — Matthew 11:28

You don’t have to earn your rest.

You don’t have to explain your stillness.

You’re allowed to reset right now.

Think about this: Where have I been running ahead of God? Where is He calling me to slow down and realign?

In this space and place, it isn’t about fixing everything. It’s about trusting the One who holds everything—starting with you.

Reset boldly,
