Seek & Search

The other day, I was using my AirPods like usual. Nothing out of the ordinary. But two days later, I realized something was missing—the right earbud was gone!

I searched everywhere. I tore through jackets, pants pockets, purses, car seats—every possible place it could’ve slipped into. I was moving fast and thinking faster, ready to flip the whole house upside down just to find this tiny piece of technology.

And when I couldn’t find it? I started browsing online to see if a replacement was on sale.

That’s when the Holy Spirit gently interrupted my frantic search.

“If you seek and search for Me, like this—high and low, with this same urgency—you will find Me.”

Whew. That stopped me in my tracks.

It’s so easy to pursue what we think we need, whether it’s material things, people, or opportunities. But God reminded me that He desires to be pursued with that same intensity—if not more.

He’s not hiding to play hard to get. He’s waiting to be found.

He wants our intentional search, our undivided heart, our full attention.

Jeremiah 29:13 says, “You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.”

That missing AirPod taught me something deeper:

There’s something far more valuable than anything I could lose—and that’s the presence of God.

So today I encourage you—seek Him. Search for Him like your soul depends on it. And I promise, you will find Him.
